New in the world of Electric Guitars:
- Godin Summit CT: another one of the Godin models to feature the innovative High-Definition Revoicer syste, it revoices and augments the frequency range of each pickup, redefining their character while allowing the player to go from passive to active pickups with the simple push of a button. The 24 ¾” scale behemoth is powered by two Seymour Duncan humbuckers, An Alnico 2 in the neck position and a ’59 in the bridge controlled via a 5-way switch.
- The Ibanez GB30TH George Benson Guitar gets its official send off at the Nashville 2008 Summer NAMM Show. Only 30 of these collectible small-bodied jazz guitars will be available worldwide, with just 16 slated for the U.S.A. The list price is $13,333.32.
- Reverend Upgrades Entire Guitar Line: The Bolt-On series now features black painted headstocks; The Set-Neck series now features neck binding and block inlays, and all guitars now use Reverend’s new Pin-Lock tuners. These latest upgrades reflect Reverend’s continued commitment to offering a truly pro-level, gig-ready guitar for well under a grand.
